In 1895, P Rebut was a cacti dealer and the generic name Rebutia is to honour him. The flowers are fantastic! A funnel-shape comes from near the soil and the flowers can be a variety of different colours from white, yellow to purple. They are easily grown from seeds and become globular. The majority of them do cluster.
The Rebutia mentosa are from Bolivia and due to the altitude, they can handle a brief temperature of -7° centigrade (c. 19° fahrenheit). If you can see the picture you can see their flowers are pink.
The Rebutia muscula are from Bolivia and due to the altitude, they can handle a brief temperature of -7° centigrade (c. 19° fahrenheit). That sounds pretty close to the one said earlier, well it should do as their habitat is equally pretty close, however the difference. The petals seem red, but are classed as light orange.
